this short youtube segment is a bit dry as we demonstrate how to measure and whisk dry ingredients!  while making ROSE’S heavenly CAKES:  Designer Chocolate Baby Grands (page 303).

sifting vs whisking:  whisking dry ingredients together assures uniform blending of small but vital dry ingredients, like baking powder, salt, etc.  rose wrote a thesis proving that sifting DOES NOT blend dry ingredients uniformly!  (the purpose of sifting is to break clumps and to loosen dry ingredients)
