    • thx M, was dying to hear your reaction. i planned to set each slivered pistachio one by one with tweezers, but I started w the ribbon and ran out of time and did the rest with ground ones.

      I am happily surprised my guests LOVED this cake. they loved the texture and moistness and lovely buttercream. my only complain is that the flavor of pistachio isn’t strong enough, even I used Sicilian pistachios and la cuisine pistachio arome. nevertheless the visual appeal of all the ground pistachios in the cake and on the buttercream, makes a good green statement 🙂
