i was hoping to put a thin layer of ROSE’S heavenly CAKES: Gateau Breton (page 69) as a crust for my latest rose stint: Savory Avocado-Potato Pie recipe, please feel free to do so and let me know your tasting impressions of using this cake as a base for anything sweet or savory!
My Brazilian friends make sweet avocado smoothies all the time, but I must say that pairing them with sugar/pastry is a hard sell Stateside! 🙂
I did try an avocado smoothy and was amazingly excellent.
I ended u not using gâteau breton, but feel it would have been nice under my savory avocado potato pie:
